Crack that shell people!

If you are a chip or salt craver, try unsalted pistachio nuts, walnuts in the shell, or peanuts – they curb your cravings for saltier, unhealthy junk food, plus you are keeping your fingers busy, slowing down the eating process giving your mind and stomach the chance to agree that you are full. Kids love the game of cracking shells and working for their food too.  It will be our little secret that you are teaching them good eating habits of slowing down and enjoying the eating process.
